Nervosa

I have become aware that i relate more to Nervosa than to Anorexia. I have come to realize that most of my blog readers will not ever experience this album, so I’ve decided to give a snip it of Nervosa as to explain my reasoning behind it. Nervosa’s story is about her digging herself into the earth. That was Showbread’s metaphor for living in the world and the worldly pleasures it offers. She just kept digging herself deeper into the ground, she eventually lost sight of the sun, and had become so ingrained with the sight of darkness that when certain characters were introduced that she would have seen right through there guises had she been even near the surface she could have disregarded them and continued on towards something better. (I must mention that the characters introduced in the story are animals. Such as Pig, Goat, Flies and Lamb.) But she didnt she accepted them for what they were and got even more abused. The part the gripped me the most in both stories was “The Pig” it was the description of the greedy people in there lives, they either wanted more fame and money(Anorexia’s case) or more sex and physical ties(Nervosa’s case). I said before that i relate more to Nervosa’s story because she has been digging this hole for herself, she has lost hope for any chance of becoming anything great! All the while Jesus(the Lamb) comes to meet her where she was, in the midst of this drab and dreary hole, she is broken and withered, but still alive. It was funny how in the story Showbread pointed out how small and “meek” the lamb was. But he still picked her up on his back and trecked back to the surface where she could have a new Beginning(name of the last song on Both albums). When she awoke the lamb was dead. She was saved at the cost of his life. i would go into more detail, but this is one thing i know you must experience for yourself. These albums keep teaching me more and more about myself, and Jesus’ love for me!

I want to extend this invitation, to read the story with me! I will read it to you. This is something i cant help but think can be righteous! I want you to have an experience, Jesus Loves us too much, Showbread is a vessel that i have dreamed of becoming! God is using them in mighty ways in my life! I only hope you have a vessel like my Showbread!
