So this song is a really big thinker. the song starts out with some guy that they asked on the street, “who do you think god is and what do you think god is?”(the reason i capitolize some word and dont capitolize others is becuase i feel that the god/love they are tlking about is a worldly god/love, where as the God/Love that are capitolized are a Spiritual/Heveanly God/Love) so any way. as the song goes on its really light music playing while more people give there opinions on God.

all that to say in 1 John 4:8 it plainly says, “God is Love.” so to tie that into the song, if we reverse where it says, is your love really love with is your god really god? then we get something like this

Is your god really God?
Is my god really God?
I think our love isn’t God,
Unless it’s God till the End.

Simply put, God isnt God unless he spans all time and all space.

Simply put, has anyone in the history of the world been able to define Love? True unabashed Love!? in my opinion No, take a look at our movies and in most about love they talk about how it cannot be expressed in words but rather in actions!

It is my belief that this song would talk about God in the same sense. That no one will ever understand God, He exsists throught all time and space and that His Love is unmached even to our own, so to figure Him out is impossible, but to show the Love that we feel through God is a totaly different story.

We can express Love through action, the same way God showed us His Love through action. He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. and Jesus didnt come to Condemn the world but to Save it. (John 3:17) and if we look at 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it gives us all the action that is needed to be taken to express TRUE unabashed Love.

so go and Love people, the way God Loved Us!
